In a recent demonstration near the Gaza border, hundreds of participants carried Israeli flags as they marched through desert paths overlooking northern Gaza, where large areas have been heavily damaged by prolonged military operations.
The march was organized by members of the hardline settler network Nachala, which has long promoted Jewish expansion in contested territories. The group’s founder, Daniella Weiss, has been one of the most vocal advocates for establishing Israeli communities in Gaza.
Weiss has argued that the war has reshaped the political landscape and strengthened support for settlement expansion, including in areas previously considered beyond the scope of Israeli resettlement ambitions.
Calls for Gaza Resettlement Gain Visibility
